Steps to Obtain a Transit Visa

Obtaining a Transit Visa is a three-stage process that goes as follows:

    How can I secure a 771 visa?

    You must be outside Australia and have a confirmed booking to travel to another country within 72 hours of arriving in Australia and the correct documents to enter that country

    Can I extend my 771 Visa?

    You cannot extend Subclass 771. If you want to stay longer, you should apply for another visa.

    Can I travel to Australia without a travel ban?

    Yes, you can travel to Australia without an approved travel ban exemption.
